Founded to offer high quality theater with a positive and hopeful message, SOUND & Stage Theater is a unique concept combining the excitement of dance and drama with the power of choral music. SOUND & Stage is a nonprofit musical theater organization in the Greater New Haven area and will be previewing their original show, Pressure Cooking, in August!
Auditions: May 30th (7-10pm) & May 31st (1-5pm)
Virtual auditions will be accepted through May 31st at 1pm.
Callbacks: June 1st (2-4pm)
Read-through: June 9th (7pm)

Now Accepting Internship Applications for Summer 2025!
SOUND & Stage is thrilled to offer internship opportunities for our upcoming summer production, Pressure Cooking. These roles are perfect for students and aspiring professionals looking to gain real-world experience and work side-by-side experienced theatre professionals. Interns will be mentored by members of our core creative team and play an integral role in bringing the production to life. Spots are limited—apply now for one of the following internships:
Stage Management Internship (July 21 – August 9) - Work closely with Caitlin Peterson, our experienced Stage Manager, to help coordinate rehearsals, run the show, and manage backstage operations.
Production Management Internship (May 30 – August 9) - Join Tiffany Ferriouolo, our Production Manager, and gain experience in scheduling, fundraising, and overseeing the technical elements of the production.
Dance Internship (June 23 – August 9) - Train and assist with choreography under the guidance of Dawn Taubl, our lead choreographer, and contribute to staging dynamic dance numbers.
Music Internship (June 23 – August 9) - Work alongside Carol Taubl, our music director, to support vocal rehearsals, musical direction, and the overall sound of the show.
