Center of Hope
Center of Hope is a project of World Vision Haiti. It is located in Hinche, a rural region in Haiti and it provides support, education, and skill building opportunities. SOUND Affect International has been traveling to this facility since 2013 and has been teaching week-long music education clinics for students sponsored by World Vision Haiti over the years. These clinics include classes in rhythm, sight-reading, song-writing, guitar, violin, dance and large group performance. A typical day of teaching usually runs from 9am to 4pm with appropriate breaks throughout the day where students receive water, snacks and lunch, provided by World Vision.

Cheerful Heart Mission is an organization committed to improving the lives of people on the border of the Dominican Republic and Haiti. They fund and manage programs focused on health, education, and economic development. SOUND Affect International and Cheerful Heart Mission joined forces in 2015. These two teams travel together at the beginning of each year and teach for one week, splitting their time equally between Loma de Cabrera (DR) and Tilori (Haiti), spending 3 to 4 days in each location. The structure of these clinics are similar to those held at the Center of Hope in Hinche, but held over a condensed timeframe.
